These gentle, rich lathering soaps do not contain any sodium lauryl (laureth) sulfate or other chemical surfactants - just pure saponified oils of olive, coconut, and castor. The soap is made primarily olive oil so it's extra mild and gentle. True castile soaps originated in Greece and are made entirely of olive oil, but we also add a little coconut and castor oil to improve the lather. And good news - we've improved the formula to include an even higher percent of olive oil and make it thicker and more like a shower gel. The soaps are scented with pure essential oils for beautiful, natural smelling fragrances, and there's a fragrance free version that's perfect for sensitive skin.
